We engaged MH Builders to carry out major renovations (effectively a new build) to our house in Chartwell. We decided to go with MH Builders, based on a number of friends who recommended them. After discussions with Clint, we decided to proceed with a Charge up Contract due to the complexity of the renovations.

Our builder Shane carried out the job to a very high standard, the sub-contractors that they recommended and engaged also produced a high standard of work. The work carried out by the sub-contractors was well co-ordinated and any issues were discussed with us straight away. Whilst there were delays and budget over-runs, the communication from Clint and Shane during the whole process was excellent. We would recommend MH Builders for any new building work or alterations. We would not hesitate if in the future we required to carry out further building work to engage MH Builders.

The project was a bathroom renovation, including the removal of a bath and vanity, and installation of a fully tiled shower, new vanity, lights and bathroom cabinet.

MH Builders helped us to completely transform our home. We wanted to take advantage of the views of Lake Karapiro, so we kept the ‘bones’ of the house, but completely changed the floor plan. What was a 4 bedroom home is now a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, complete with 2 living areas that open right up to our outside living spaces. As with any major renovation, there were hiccups along the way… but MH Builders was great at communicating clearly with us throughout the process.

MH Builders have shown that they are committed to providing excellent customer service by acknowledging an oversight and then organizing remedial work to fulfil our plans for the kitchen at no extra cost to us. Along the way, MH also kept us in the loop with updates and feed-back. Thank you and team for doing this.

We are happy with the end result, and feel like we could move on now with getting the rest of the interior renovated in the near future.

Our bathroom was very outdated – We wanted a revamp as we are looking to sell in the near future. MH Builders did it all! I was worried about vanities & baths and they organised everything.

This was piece of mind, knowing that the work was going ahead and that the debris was being removed daily. The process was far less inconvenient then we had thought it would be and the program was designed around our continued use of the home with little disruption.

I’m not good with DIY so wanted a local trusted builder on board for the work. It was important that I knew the project schedule as it gave me opportunity to put an alternate plan into action and the builder kept to it!
My bathroom is just so fresh and new. Lovely new shower, vanity and bath – The ‘mosaic’ tiles were important to me and they have been laid perfectly and I love it.
